Walter joined the ODI in September 2019 as a Delivery Manager for the Research and Development programme.
He manages delivery across a range of projects undertaken by cross-functional digital teams, including research, policy and technology expertise. He ensures projects are delivered on time and to agreed goals.
Walter joined the ODI from the international development research organisation, the International Growth Centre (IGC). At the IGC, Walter was responsible for the management and commissioning of a large portfolio economic research projects, and published research on information and innovation in the public sector. Prior to that, Walter worked for the insurance group Validus where he supported the delivery of complex IT system projects, while also studying at SOAS university for an MSc in African Politics.
