Linet Kwamboka is a consultant at the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) as the Africa Program Manager, where she is responsible for supporting activities and programs for countries with the data they need to tackle the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance the tracking and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She is also the founder of DataScience Ltd – a data engineering firm focused on building information systems that help organisations make data-informed decisions.
She has in the past been a Mozilla Foundation Fellow, consultant at the World Bank and UNDP, and served as the project manager for the Kenya ICT Authority on the Kenya Open Data Initiative and Open Government Partnership.
Her background is in computer science, data analysis and geographical information systems.
She is recognised as one of the world’s 100 most influential people in digital government and a top three finalist in the Bloomberg award of global open data champions.
