Alla Morrison is the Program Manager for the ‘From Disclosure to Development’ (D2D) program in the Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory team of IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.
The program’s goal is to enhance benefit sharing with communities from investments in natural resources and infrastructure through effective disclosure and data use practices. D2D develops and tests new approaches, partnerships and platforms aimed at improving the ways in which companies and governments disclose data, so that communities and other stakeholders can use it to inform their decisions and actions.
Before joining IFC, Alla worked at the World Bank where she advised governments on open data, smart cities, digital government, and digital economy, and where she launched and managed the World Bank’s Data Innovation Fund.
Prior to the World Bank, she founded a company in China and worked in financial advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Alla holds an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
