Ali is currently Senior Advisor to the Minister of Investment in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, involved in developing a world-class investor experience. He was previously an Advisor at NEOM, responsible for the NEOM Data Strategy. He also worked for Smart Dubai (gov) for 8 years, as City Experience Advisor, working on the wellbeing program, as well as being responsible for designing Dubai-wide mega-App (DubaiNow), digital identity (UAE-PASS), Data Platform (Dubai Pulse), and others. He has experience in data initiatives, use case developments, data science and others. Ali has a BSc in Physics from Hull University, studied physics/electronics/computing research at Oxford University, and holds a PhD in Psychology at Surrey University, where he specialised in people’s experience with technology.
